Hey, thanks for dropping by my site to learn more about what is going on in the life of Cliff Hammock. As always, I am busier than ever managing (juggling really) the responsibilities associated with my family, my web design and hosting company, my full time job as a software development project manager, and my endeavors into the world of SEO and eCommerce.

My educational background is in engineering but my heart is into entrepreneurship and I have been involved in a few startup organizations. I have worked in a wide variety of industries over the last 16 years…but right now I mainly focus on project management for software development efforts, web design and hosting, SEO and eCommerce. Aside from my job, I have small business building and hosting websites and enjoy working with my customers on a personal basis to help them put their best foot forward on the web.

I am a firm believer that access to broadband internet will change the way pretty much everyone works, plays and communicates. I learned this first hand when our family got DSL when it first became available in our area. I saw my wife go from checking email once or twice a week on dial up to using the Internet daily for communication, research, education and entertainment.

One of my goals is to be a major player in the Internet economy and I am constantly prospecting for opportunities. After working for several years in web design and hosting…mainly with non-profit organizations….I decided that I needed to further investigate the Internet value chain and determine where I could best plug in. It is not that I did not enjoy working with non-profits, it’s just that they are typically limited from a funding perspective, which makes it hard to grow the business.

So I got involved in researching the area of Internet Marketing in the Summer of 2006. The first book I found was Joel Comm’s Adsense book and then I started reading Eric Holmlund’s blog. One thing led to another and now I have several projects in which I am involved.

I am starting to provide consulting services to organizations that need assistance in managing their Pay Per Click (PPC) marketing campaigns and making their site more visible on the search engines. I am also a member of StomperNet, the world’s largest and most active community for eComm, SEO Marketing, Social Network Martketing, Video and Article Marketing. StomperNet is based out of Atlanta and a couple of times a year, hundreds of our members gather their for three-day networking and training sessions.

I hope to add more later…but this at least gives you a peek into what I am all about…at least from a business perspective. I will focus more on family and faith perspectives in the near future.
